IUD AWARENESS CAMPAIGN 2019

Promotional material to raise awareness of the use of the copper IUD as a form of emergency contraception.

I was approached by students at King’s College London, who are working in collaboration with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, to rebrand and create new promotional collateral to raise awareness of the use of the copper IUD as a form of emergency contraception.

The brief specified the material should be contemporary, eye-catching, and attractive to a female audience. My aim was to step away from standard, clinical designs of this nature, and instead create something memorable and stand-out. By reinventing the way this information is presented, we hope to increase its longevity and the likelihood that the consumer will refer back to it in their time of need.

The initial stage of the project was to create business cards to be distributed at clinics across London. These cards provide information about the copper IUD and directs the audience to further resources online.

The next step will be to create an Instagram campaign to further increase the awareness of the copper IUD and services provided by SXT. By doing so we hope to target specific groups of females located throughout London boroughs, where this organisation is currently situated.
